1. Purpose
This license defines how users may use assets generated through ChibiGen.
ChibiGen is a game-production tool that allows users to generate, process, organize, animate, and export game-ready assets for use in their own creative projects.
The purpose of this license is to allow broad use inside the user’s own games and creative works while prohibiting the resale, redistribution, or repackaging of generated assets as standalone asset products.
In plain terms:
You may use ChibiGen-generated assets in your own games and creative projects.
You may not resell or redistribute those generated assets as standalone asset packs, stock assets, sprite libraries, animation packs, templates, datasets, or competing content products.
2. Definitions
For purposes of this license:
2.1 “ChibiGen”
“ChibiGen” means the software, service, desktop application, web service, generation pipeline, asset-processing tools, local export tools, documentation, UI, workflows, and related systems provided by UltraPwned Gaming.
2.2 “Generated Assets”
“Generated Assets” means any visual, textual, metadata, image, sprite, animation, icon, texture, sheet, atlas, prompt-derived, or exported content generated, processed, modified, isolated, resized, animated, packaged, or exported through ChibiGen.
Generated Assets include, but are not limited to:
- static sprites
- character sprites
- monster sprites
- boss sprites
- NPC sprites
- item icons
- weapon sprites
- armor sprites
- accessory sprites
- spell effects
- attack effects
- environmental props
- buildings
- tiles
- UI elements
- animation frames
- animation sheets
- sprite sheets
- atlases
- preview files
- metadata sidecars
- exported asset packages
2.3 “Standalone Assets”
“Standalone Assets” means Generated Assets distributed in a form where the assets themselves are the primary product, rather than being embedded into a larger game, application, video, prototype, or creative project.
Examples include:
- sprite packs
- character packs
- spell animation packs
- icon packs
- item packs
- tileset packs
- texture packs
- stock-art libraries
- asset-store products
- marketplace asset bundles
- templates containing extractable raw assets
- downloadable PNG/JSON/atlas collections
- training datasets
- competing asset libraries
2.4 “End Product”
“End Product” means a larger creative work that incorporates Generated Assets as part of a game, application, interactive experience, video, prototype, demo, marketing asset, internal presentation, or other creative project.
Examples include:
- commercial games
- free games
- mobile games
- desktop games
- browser games
- game prototypes
- game jam submissions
- internal demos
- trailers
- gameplay videos
- screenshots
- pitch decks
- educational interactive projects
- apps that use the assets as embedded visual content
2.5 “User”
“User” means the individual or organization with an active or valid ChibiGen account, license, seat, or subscription.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this license, ChibiGen grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Generated Assets inside your own End Products.
This includes the right to:
- use Generated Assets in commercial games
- use Generated Assets in free games
- use Generated Assets in prototypes
- use Generated Assets in demos
- use Generated Assets in educational projects
- use Generated Assets in marketing screenshots or trailers for your own End Product
- modify Generated Assets for your own End Product
- resize, recolor, crop, animate, process, or otherwise adapt Generated Assets for your own End Product
- include Generated Assets in compiled game builds
- include Generated Assets in private development repositories used by your team
- include Generated Assets in project files when reasonably necessary for collaborators, contractors, publishers, or platform review
4. Commercial Game Use Allowed
You may use Generated Assets in commercial games and other commercial End Products.
You may sell, distribute, publish, stream, advertise, or otherwise commercialize your End Product, provided that the Generated Assets are incorporated into the End Product and are not distributed primarily as Standalone Assets.
Examples of allowed commercial use:
- selling a game on Steam, itch.io, Epic Games Store, App Store, Google Play, or a similar platform
- using Generated Assets in a paid mobile game
- using Generated Assets in a commercial RPG, platformer, tactics game, roguelike, or adventure game
- using Generated Assets in a trailer, screenshot, landing page, or promotional image for your own game
- hiring a contractor to modify Generated Assets for your own game
- placing Generated Assets in a private repository for your team
5. Standalone Resale and Redistribution Prohibited
You may not sell, license, sublicense, distribute, publish, upload, transfer, give away, or otherwise make Generated Assets available as Standalone Assets.
This restriction applies whether the Generated Assets are:
- unchanged
- modified
- recolored
- resized
- renamed
- repackaged
- bundled with other assets
- included in a downloadable template
- included in a competing product
- included in a marketplace listing
- included in a dataset
You may not use ChibiGen to operate or substantially support a standalone asset-resale business.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Generated Assets or ChibiGen outputs for any of the following:
6.1 Asset Pack Resale
You may not sell or distribute Generated Assets as:
- sprite packs
- game asset packs
- icon packs
- character packs
- spell packs
- VFX packs
- tileset packs
- environment packs
- UI packs
- stock art
- asset libraries
6.2 Marketplace Uploads
You may not upload or sell Generated Assets as standalone products on marketplaces, including but not limited to:
- Unity Asset Store
- Unreal Marketplace / Fab
- itch.io asset listings
- GameDev Market
- CraftPix
- OpenGameArt-style asset repositories
- stock-image or stock-art marketplaces
- template marketplaces
- any substantially similar asset marketplace
6.3 Competing Products
You may not use Generated Assets to build, train, populate, seed, market, or support a competing asset-generation tool, asset marketplace, sprite library, stock-art library, or downloadable asset-pack product.
6.4 Datasets and Model Training
You may not use Generated Assets as part of:
- AI training datasets
- fine-tuning datasets
- image datasets
- sprite datasets
- benchmarking datasets
- asset-generation training corpora
- commercial machine-learning datasets
unless you receive separate written permission from ChibiGen.
6.5 Raw Asset Redistribution
You may not distribute raw Generated Assets in a way that allows third parties to extract, reuse, or resell them as standalone files, except where reasonably necessary for your own End Product development, testing, deployment, or platform review.
6.6 Template Abuse
You may not include Generated Assets in templates, starter kits, sample projects, engine packages, or downloadable project files where the Generated Assets are a material part of the value of the template itself.
7. Permitted Team and Contractor Use
You may share Generated Assets with team members, employees, contractors, publishers, platform reviewers, or collaborators when reasonably necessary to create, test, publish, market, or maintain your own End Product.
Anyone receiving access to Generated Assets through you must use them only for your End Product and may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or reuse them in unrelated projects unless they have their own valid ChibiGen license and rights to do so.
You are responsible for ensuring that your team and contractors comply with this license.
8. Modification Rights
You may modify Generated Assets for use in your own End Product.
Permitted modifications include:
- recoloring
- resizing
- cropping
- editing
- adding or removing details
- combining with your own original art
- animating
- slicing into frames
- packing into atlases
- converting to engine-specific formats
- adapting for different resolutions or platforms
However, modifying a Generated Asset does not remove the restrictions in this license. Modified Generated Assets may still not be sold, redistributed, sublicensed, uploaded, or packaged as Standalone Assets.
9. Exported Files
ChibiGen may export Generated Assets in formats including:
- PNG
- transparent PNG
- sprite sheets
- animation sheets
- atlases
- JSON metadata
- YAML metadata
- contact sheets
- preview images
- ZIP packages
- README files
- license files
- engine-oriented folder structures
Exporting files from ChibiGen does not grant additional rights beyond this license.
Game-ready exports are licensed for use inside your own End Products only.
10. Preview Files and Contact Sheets
Preview images, contact sheets, checkerboard previews, thumbnails, and marketing previews generated by ChibiGen are provided for review, organization, and presentation purposes.
You may use preview images in your own internal workflow and in marketing for your End Product.
You may not sell or distribute preview sheets as standalone asset catalogs or asset products.
11. Ownership and Rights
As between you and ChibiGen, you may use Generated Assets according to the license granted above.
This license does not transfer ownership of ChibiGen, its software, systems, UI, prompts, model orchestration, code, workflows, templates, names, marks, documentation, or generation pipeline to you.
Nothing in this license grants you:
- ownership of ChibiGen
- rights to ChibiGen’s trademarks or branding
- rights to ChibiGen’s software or source code
- rights to resell ChibiGen outputs as Standalone Assets
- rights to sublicense Generated Assets to third parties
- rights to claim exclusivity over Generated Assets
Generated Assets are licensed on a non-exclusive basis. Other users may generate similar or related outputs.
12. No Exclusivity
Generated Assets are not exclusive to you.
Because ChibiGen uses procedural systems, prompts, models, styles, and structured generation workflows, similar assets may be generated by other users.
You may not claim that Generated Assets are exclusive unless you have a separate written agreement with ChibiGen granting exclusivity.
13. Attribution
Attribution is not required unless a separate plan, marketplace, or special license states otherwise.
However, attribution is appreciated.
Suggested optional attribution:
Assets generated with ChibiGen by UltraPwned Gaming.
14. Subscription, Credits, and Access
Use of ChibiGen may require an active subscription, license, or credit balance.
AI generation may consume credits.
Local actions such as exporting, organizing, resizing, packaging, creating metadata, or building ZIP files may be free or included depending on the applicable plan.
ChibiGen may modify plans, credit pricing, included features, limits, and usage policies from time to time.
Generated Assets created during a valid subscription remain usable in your End Products according to this license, provided you complied with the license and terms at the time of generation.
15. Account Abuse and Enforcement
ChibiGen may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this license.
Examples of violations include:
- selling Generated Assets as standalone packs
- uploading Generated Assets to asset marketplaces
- using ChibiGen to create a competing asset library
- distributing raw exports outside an End Product
- attempting to bypass credit limits or account restrictions
- scraping, automating, or abusing the service in violation of posted terms
- misrepresenting Generated Assets as exclusively owned asset-pack products
ChibiGen may also revoke access to future generation features, disable accounts, or pursue other remedies available under applicable law.
16. Metadata and Provenance
ChibiGen may include metadata, sidecar files, project identifiers, account identifiers, generation records, prompt signatures, or other provenance information in exported assets or project files.
This metadata may be used for:
- project organization
- reproducibility
- debugging
- license compliance
- abuse detection
- customer support
- export validation
You may not remove or falsify metadata for the purpose of evading this license or misrepresenting the origin or permitted use of Generated Assets.
17. No Warranty
Generated Assets are provided “as is.”
ChibiGen does not guarantee that Generated Assets will be:
- unique
- error-free
- legally protectable
- suitable for every use
- compatible with every game engine
- free from visual defects
- free from similarity to other generated or existing assets
You are responsible for reviewing Generated Assets before publication and ensuring that your use complies with applicable law, platform rules, and third-party rights.
18. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- reviewing Generated Assets before use
- confirming that exported files meet your technical needs
- ensuring that your End Product complies with applicable law
- ensuring your team and contractors follow this license
- not using Generated Assets in prohibited ways
- maintaining backups of your project files and exports
19. Third-Party Platforms
If you use Generated Assets in a game or project distributed through a third-party platform, you are responsible for complying with that platform’s rules.
This license does not override the terms of:
- game marketplaces
- app stores
- console platforms
- asset stores
- middleware vendors
- engine providers
- publisher agreements
20. Termination
If you violate this license, your rights under this license may terminate automatically.
Upon termination, you must stop using Generated Assets in any manner that violates this license, including any standalone redistribution, resale, marketplace upload, dataset use, or competing product use.
Termination does not require ChibiGen to refund fees, credits, or subscription payments unless required by law or a separate written agreement.
21. Separate Written Agreements
ChibiGen may offer separate written agreements for:
- enterprise use
- marketplace resale rights
- exclusive asset production
- studio licensing
- custom asset generation
- dataset licensing
- white-label generation
- educational licensing
- publisher or platform partnerships
Any rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved.
22. Supplementary terms — redistribution and end-product use
This section may be incorporated by reference in your project licensing or included in export LICENSE.txt files for assets generated through ChibiGen.
Permitted in your end products
- Use in commercial and non-commercial games, apps, and interactive projects you publish
- Modify, animate, combine, and include assets in compiled builds and releases
- Use in trailers, screenshots, and marketing for your project
- Share with teammates and contractors working on the same project
Redistribution of raw assets
Generated Assets are licensed for use inside your End Products—not as standalone products others can extract and reuse. You may not sell, sublicense, or distribute raw sprite sheets, animation packs, stock libraries, template kits, datasets, or marketplace bundles built primarily from ChibiGen outputs.
Core rule
Use ChibiGen assets in the games and worlds you build. Keep raw exports inside your project workflow unless you have a separate written agreement with UltraPwned Gaming.
Suggested export notice
ChibiGen Generated Asset Notice Assets in this package were generated and/or processed through ChibiGen (UltraPwned Gaming). You may use these assets in your own games, applications, prototypes, videos, and related creative projects. You may not sell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish these assets as standalone sprite packs, art packs, animation packs, stock libraries, templates, datasets, or competing asset products.
23. Reservation of rights
All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved by ChibiGen and UltraPwned Gaming.
